Howrah Junior Soccer Club fields teams from Under 5 (Kinder) through to Under 12 (Grade 6) in the Eastern Region Junior Soccer Association (ERJSA).
Mixed leagues are available for every age group from Under 5 through to Under 12. In addition, two 7-a-side girls leagues will be available in 2025 with a combined Under 8/9 league and a combined Under 9/10 league.

Registration + Fees
Registration for the 2025 season is now open.
The registration fee is $150 and includes the following:
- Player registration
- Insurance
- 14 round season
- Playing top (for use during the season)
- End of season celebration
- Player medallion

Training
Weekly training sessions are run on the bottom oval at Howrah Primary School from 3:15pm – 4:15pm. Training days are typically confirmed in April based on coach availability.
Uniform
The playing top belongs to the club and is only for use on game day. You will need to provide your child with black shorts, socks, boots and shin guards. Soccer boots and shin guards are compulsory at training sessions. Mouth guards are recommended but not compulsory.
Volunteers
Coaches
The Coach is the appointed leader and contact person for the team. During the registration process, parents/guardians can express interest in volunteering as a coach.
Coaching a group of children is a privilege and requires a commitment to run a weekly training session and to lead the team on game day. Any person who takes on this role is greatly appreciated and will be supported by the Club.
Coaches need to have a valid registration to work with vulnerable people (RWVP) card and register as a volunteer with Football Australia.

Game leaders (Referees)

Managers
The Manager can assist the coach with timing of halves and subs.

How to register as a volunteer

Obtain a Certificate of Completion in 2025. Certificates obtained in 2024 will not be accepted. Access the learning at https://decyp-safeguarding.mygo1.com/signup/email and follow the prompts to create a new account or access an existing account. Email a copy of the Certificate of Completion to info@hjsc.com.au where it will be retained on file. |

Volunteers must complete all of the activities listed above and satisfy the requirements below before being able to volunteer with children. They must also maintain the relevant registrations throughout the period they are performing their role or duty.
