How long does the season go for?

The season typically starts in early May and ends in late August. This season (2025) consists of 14 rounds.

When are games played?

Games are typically played at the following times subject to confirmation of roster by the ERJSA.

  • Saturday mornings to early afternoon for U5 – U11s
  • Friday nights and Saturday mornings for U12s
Where are games played?

Games are typically played at the following grounds subject to confirmation of roster by the ERJSA.

  • Geilston Bay Oval No 2: U/5 – U/7
  • Edgeworth Sports Ground: U/8 – U/9
  • Wentworth Park: U/10
  • Cambridge Oval and Cambridge New: U/11 – U/12
  • Bayview Secondary College: U5 – U12

Do we need to pay for a uniform or equipment?

The club supplies all of its players with a playing top for the duration of the season. This must be handed back to the club on conclusion of the season.

Each player will be required to supply their own black playing shorts, black socks, shin pads, and boots.

Mouth guards, while not compulsory, are recommended.

Balls, goals, and training equipment are all supplied by the club.

Who coaches the teams?

Coaches, game leaders (referees), and team managers are all volunteer positions undertaken by parents/guardians.

Do I need a registration to work with vulnerable people (RWVP) card to volunteer with the club?

A current RWVP card must be obtained prior to performing any volunteer role with the club. This applies to coaches, game leaders (referees) team managers, and committee members.
